Welcome to Brothaigh Guest House

Brothaigh House is a Victorian town house nestling in the exclusive suburb of Newington on the south side of Edinburgh, just 1.5 miles south of the city centre.  

Graham and Carole Mills extend a warm and friendly welcome to their family run guest house.  We have a small private car park and there is ample, free, unrestricted, side street parking. A ten-minute ride on one of the many buses that pass the door will take you to the heart of Scotland's beautiful capital. Double, twin and family rooms are available, all en-suite. Each room has colour TV, tea & coffee facilities, radio/alarm clock and hairdryer.   A "Welcome to Edinburgh" pack is also provided to assist you with your visit to Scotland's Capital.

A sumptuous Scottish breakfast awaits you each morning in the elegant dining room. Lorne sausage made from prime Aberdeen Angus beef, succulent bacon, "tattie" scones, fresh mushrooms and tomatoes with eggs cooked to your choice are accompanied by plenty of golden toast and a choice of teas and freshly-ground coffee. In addition, the extensive cold buffet offers a choice of cereals, fruit juices, yogurts and fresh fruit.
